How far in advance should I book a portrait photography session?
Most women book 1 to 2 weeks ahead. That gives us time to talk through outfits, vision, and everything you want to feel before you arrive. Need something sooner? Ask. I sometimes have last-minute availability.
How do I book a photo session with you?
Fill out the form on this page or message me on WhatsApp. I’ll get back to you within 24 hours and we’ll take it from there.
Do you require a photography deposit to hold my date?
Yes. 50% to hold your date, the remainder on the day of your session. Your date is reserved exclusively for you.
What’s included in your photography packages?
Your shoot, full editing, and a private online gallery of high-resolution portraits. Every package is different. See the full breakdown on the Services page.
What should I wear for a portrait session?
Something that makes you feel like yourself. Not your “best” self, just you. Simple, fitted, meaningful. No logos, no busy prints. I’ll send you a full styling guide after you book and we can talk it through together.
How long does a typical portrait session last?
Depending on your package, 1 to 4 hours. Never rushed. The session ends when we have what we came for.
How long will it take to get my photos?
Your gallery will be ready within 2 weeks of your session.
Do you retouch all of the photos?
I edit for light, shadow, and tone. Not to change who you are. Rawnoir is about seeing yourself as you actually are, not a filtered version of yourself.
Where do photo sessions take place?
Jersey City, NJ. Easy to reach from NYC and the entire tri-state area. Full address sent after booking.
Can I print my photos anywhere?
Yes. All files are high-resolution and print-ready. Use any professional print lab you like.
What happens if it rains or I need to reschedule my photoshoot?
Life happens. Just let me know at least 48 hours in advance and we’ll find a new date.
Will you share my portraits online or on social media?
Only with your explicit permission. Always.
Can I add hair and makeup?
Yes. Glam is available as an add-on from $250, arranged through our trusted styling partner. You walk in and just be present.
I’ve never done anything like this. Is it really for me?
Especially for you. Most of my clients say the same thing before they arrive. By the end, they don’t want to stop.
