How far in advance should I book a portrait photography session?
Most clients book their portrait session 1-2 weeks in advance. This gives us plenty of time to choose a location, plan outfits, and make sure you feel fully prepared. Need something sooner? I sometimes have last-minute spots—just ask!
How long will the photo shoot last?

How do I book a photo session with you?
You can book your session by sending me a message or filling out my contact form. I’ll help you pick the right package and set a date that works for you.
Do you require a photography deposit to hold my date?
Yes, I take a small non-refundable retainer to secure your spot. The balance is due after your session once you’ve had time to get excited about your gallery.
What’s included in your photography packages?
Every package includes planning support, a relaxed photo session, professional photo editing, and a private online gallery where you can view, download, and order prints.
What should I wear for a portrait session?
We’ll plan your outfits together! I’ll guide you toward colors, textures, and styles that photograph beautifully. No need to buy a new wardrobe—often we can style looks from what you already own.
How long does a typical portrait session last?
Most sessions last 60–90 minutes, which gives us time for multiple looks and locations without feeling rushed.
How long will it take to get my photos?
You’ll receive your fully edited gallery within 1 week. I know how exciting it is to see your portraits, so I work hard to deliver quickly without cutting corners.
Do you retouch all of the photos?
Yes! I gently retouch every portrait to make sure you look like your best self—natural, confident, and radiant.
Where do photo sessions take place?
We can shoot in studio. I’ll help you choose the perfect spot based on the style you’re looking for.
Can I print my photos anywhere?
You’ll receive high-resolution digital images that you can print anywhere. I also offer professional-quality prints if you’d like me to handle it all for you.
What happens if it rains or I need to reschedule my photoshoot?
Life happens! If weather or something unexpected comes up, we’ll reschedule your photography session for another date that works for both of us—no stress.
Will you share my portraits online or on social media?
Your privacy matters. I only share images with your permission. If you prefer to keep your portraits private, that’s completely fine.
